HCIM Releases New and Improved SymKey® for EZ-CAP®

On March 20, after extensive testing at Managed Care Systems (MCS), CareMore Medical Enterprises (CareMore), and Bakersfield Family Medical Center (BFMC), HCIM issued a SymKey® product update general release, which offers new features and enhancements for the SymKey® for EZ-CAP® Professional Claims module. HCIM Welcomes New SymKey® for EZ-CAP® Customer – CareMore Medical Enterprises

After a successful installation, HCIM's SymKey® for EZ-CAP® Professional Claims module went into production at CareMore Medical Enterprises on Jan. 15. CareMore signed a three-year licensing agreement with HCIM for the SymKey® automated claims processing system on Nov. 30, 2007. "We foresee a 10-20% reduction in the cost of processing a claim, because when SymKey automates our claims adjudication process, it takes the burden away from our full-time staff," said Chuck Weber, CareMore's Senior Vice President of Operations. SymKey® Virtual Auto-Post™ Module Scheduled for April 2008 Release

HCIM announced today that the highly anticipated SymKey® for EZ-CAP® Virtual Auto-Post™ module is in testing at High Desert Medical Group (HDMG) and is scheduled for general release in April 2008. Click here to read about the Virtual Auto-Post module.

HCIM to attend EZ-CAP® WRUG conference: Continuing its long-time support of the EZ-CAP® Western Regional User Group conference and Board of Directors, HCIM is once again a gold sponsor for the March 27-28, 2008 EZ-CAP WRUG conference in Huntington Beach, CA. Mike Wilson, Greg Merica, Tom Streeter, and Angie Reynolds will be attending the conference, and look forward to meeting with their Western Regional User Group friends.

ICE makes changes to PDR letters: HCIM updated its Appeals Manager™ for California's AB 1455 application to conform to 2008 ICE PDR letter changes. HCIM colleague obtains QNXT certification: Marilyn Udy, HCIM's Client Services Consultant, earned her QNXT 3.4 Bachelor Certification on Oct. 3, 2007. This accomplishment benchmarks a greater and more in depth understanding of the QNXT integration and configuration requirements as they apply to the complexities of today's claims payer market. Utilizing her healthcare experience and QNXT expertise, Marilyn is presently providing on-site support and guidance in the configuration, integration, and development of the QNXT 3.4 platform for Adaptis.

HCIM corporate office relocates to Walnut Creek, Calif.: The new HCIM corporate office address is: 712 Bancroft Rd, Suite 456, Walnut Creek, CA 94598-1531.

New HCIM development office: HCIM opened a new development office in Concord, CA, to accommodate its growing development staff. This move will allow the development team to work together, leverage each other's talents, and generate synergy.
