Heritage Provider Network Renews Master SymKey® for EZ-CAP® License

Heritage Provider Network (HPN) renewed their master SymKey for EZ-CAP license for another three years for all five California locations in September 2010. HPN licenses the SymKey for EZ-CAP Professional Claims module, Hospital Claims module, and Move 1 to 5 Payment Utility. HPN has been a SymKey client since 2004.

Regal Medical Group Licenses SymKey® for EZ-CAP® Hospital Claims Module

Regal Medical Group signed an addendum to their renewed HPN master licensing agreement to add the secondary SymKey for EZ-CAP Hospital Claims module, effective September 2010. Regal has been a SymKey client since 2005.

 

SymKey® for EZ-CAP® v. 2.0 Development

SymKey for EZ-CAP v. 2.0 is compatible with MZI HealthCare’s latest version of EZ-CAP, version 6.1, and also contains expanded functionality from SymKey v. 1.3x. SymKey v. 2.0 has been in beta testing at an HCIM client site since November 2010 and will be made available for general release at no additional cost to current SymKey clients following completion of the beta testing.

QNXT™ Implementation at Bravo Health

HCIM's QNXT Certified Professional Consultant Amy Sipe has been instrumental in the QNXT implementation and development of a new line of business for Bravo Health, a longstanding HCIM client located in Baltimore, Maryland. Amy has drawn on her previous QNXT and managed care industry experience to provide the proper and necessary QNXT configuration options for both provider contracts and medical policy, based on the detailed business requirements. She has also been an active participant in the unit and system testing of QNXT. Amy will continue to work hand-in-hand with Bravo staff to deliver and apply best practices consultation to ensure a successful go live.

ikaSystems Data Conversion

HCIM has successfully completed the first phase for Medicaid-related legacy claims and authorizations data conversion for an ikaSystems client. HCIM is currently completing the second phase for an additional commercial-related data conversion. This will be HCIM’s second ikaSystems data conversion for new clients in the past year.

 

Jeffrey Hall Promoted to Executive Vice President, Client Services

Jeffrey M. Hall has been promoted to Executive Vice President, Client Services. This transition coincides with the realignment of the products and services business units under the new Client Services division. Jeff will now oversee the Product Management and Consulting Services business units.

Jeff’s demonstrated initiative, drive, and professionalism during the past 10 years has contributed to the great success and growth that has brought HCIM to this 10-year milestone achievement. His leadership in this new position will set the path and vision for achieving continued success and growth within the Client Services division, which will benefit all clients that utilize HCIM’s products and services on a daily basis.

Jerry Cavalieri Elected to HCIM Board of Directors

HCIM is pleased to announce the election of Jerry Cavalieri to HCIM’s Board of Directors, effective August 7, 2010. An accomplished business executive, Jerry is CEO of HPC America, a software consulting company for SAP implementations at utility companies across the United States. After working in financial roles at San Francisco’s Pacific Gas & Electric for 15 years, Jerry joined HPC in 1999 and has served as HPC’s CEO for the past eight years. Jerry’s extensive knowledge of the technology software and consulting industry will be an asset to HCIM. Jerry and his family reside in San Ramon, Calif.
