Lakeside Medical Group Licenses SymKey®
Lakeside Medical Group, Heritage Provider Network, located in Agoura Hills, Calif., signed a SymKey® for EZ-CAP® Hospital Claims module license, effective January 2011. Lakeside Medical Group licensed the SymKey for EZ-CAP Professional Claims module in December 2009.

SymKey® for EZ-CAP® v. 2.0 General Release
MZI HealthCare is in the process of rolling out EZ-CAP® v. 6.1 to their clients. EZ-CAP® v. 6.x is a browser based application that includes several new features. SymKey® for EZ-CAP® v. 2.0 will be rolling into production alongside EZ-CAP v. 6.1 and will be available for general release at no additional cost to current SymKey clients. HCIM strongly recommends that SymKey users thoroughly test their current SymKey scenarios as they plan the upgrade to EZ-CAP v. 6.1, due to the enhancements made to both EZ-CAP and SymKey. Prior to setting an EZ-CAP v. 6.1 upgrade go live date, please contact HCIM Product Support at support@hcim.com or 888-454-0202, ext. 2, for assistance in developing an upgrade testing plan.

HCIM entered into a Joint Software Product Referral Partner Agreement with Plexis Healthcare Systems in January 2011.
