Arizona Priority Care Plus (AzPCP)

Arizona Priority Care Plus (AzPCP) has licensed the SymKey 2.0 for EZ-CAP 6.2.1 Professional Claims, Hospital Claims, Virtual Auto-Post™, and Payment Processing modules. AzPCP is a division of Heritage Provider Network, a long-time HCIM client, and is now the seventh Heritage Provider Network site with SymKey. Their contract start date was Jan. 1, so congratulations to HCIM’s first new client of 2012!

North American Medical Management of Illinois (NAMM-IL)

NAMM-IL has renewed their SymKey for EZ-CAP Professional Claims, Hospital Claims, and Payment Processing module license for another year, effective Nov. 15, 2011. NAMM-IL has been a SymKey client since Nov. 15, 2008.

Development of QNXT™ Benefits Loader

HCIM is currently in discussions with its QNXT clients about the feasibility and design of a SymKey for QNXT loader utility, which would import a spreadsheet into customized QNXT templates and automate the loading of Provider Contracts and Benefit Plans into the QNXT system. The Provider Contract loader is expected to be completed in Spring 2012 and the Benefit Plans loader will be released around Sept. 2012. As a Q-User's Group sponsor, HCIM will present on the new SymKey for QNXT loader utility for Provider Contracts and Benefit Plans at the Spring 2012 Q-User's Group Meeting.

MZI and HCIM Collaborating on EZ-CAP® 6.x Performance Improvements

As part of HCIM and MZI HealthCare’s collaborative effort to benefit the EZ-CAP client base, HCIM licensed SymKey for EZ-CAP to MZI HealthCare in Dec. 2011. This will allow for thorough testing and the identification of new opportunities to increase the performance of SymKey for EZ-CAP.

SymKey 2.0 for EZ-CAP 6.3x

HCIM released SymKey 2.0 for EZ-CAP 6.3x (for Internet Explorer 9) in Jan. 2012. HCIM is working with MZI HealthCare on testing validation of SymKey for the EZ-CAP 6.3x version. Please contact HCIM Product Support once you have scheduled an upgrade to EZ-CAP 6.3x in order to coordinate your SymKey upgrade as well.

SymKey for Plexis Claims Manager™

HCIM is working with Plexis Healthcare Systems on the prototype of SymKey for Plexis Claims Manager (PCM). Plexis and HCIM are currently working to identify potential PCM beta client partners.

CMS HIPAA 5010 Compliance Grace Period

CMS announced a 90-day grace period for HIPAA 5010 compliance on Nov. 17, 2011. While CMS did not offer a deadline extension on the HIPAA 5010 compliance date of Jan. 1, 2012, they will not “initiate enforcement action” before March 31, 2012. What does this mean? more >>
